What have been the highlights in your personal life since your Mount days?
Living in Germany. Watching our girls grow up. Stephanie’s Junior Olympic Volleyball tournaments. Colleen’s tennis matches. Classes at Corning, NY. Traveling. Learning to play golf.
What you like to do? - hobbies, sports, recreation, church, etc. Play golf, make glass and paint and travel
Who would you especially like to see at the reunion? Paula and all my classmates.
What is your first memory of Mount de Chantal? The playroom in the mornings before class.
What is your last memory of Mount de Chantal? Our class reunion.
Most memorable event: Winning a music scholarship and singing with the symphony.
Favorite musical group while at the Mount: The Beatles and the Wheeling Symphony.
Favorite movie: ET, Anne of Green Gables, too many more to name.
Favorite teacher or class: Sr. Mary Helen, senior English
Favorite non-classroom activities: Cruising, feeding the ducks at Oglebay, talking on the phone, playing tennis, going to the symphony and musicals in Pittsburgh. Oh yeah, and cutting class.
Favorite locations on campus and off campus: The music building.
Place/space/sound that captures the Mount in memory: Midnight mass at Christmas.
Any unusual experience you would like to share or trips you have taken? We sailed on Premier, Princess and Celebrity cruise lines. We rode through the top of the rain forest in Costa Rica. We went to the Shakespeare festival at Niagara on the Lake. We took classes at the Corning Studio in New York.
